| Hello! We want to welcome you to Hanic's Cake Shoppe. I have been making and decorating cakes for over 20 years. After teaching cake decorating classes for over 15 years we opened our shop in 2000. We started out doing all occasion cakes, cookies and candies. As we grew and the demand for wedding cakes increased we changed our focus over to wedding cakes only in 2006. Our shop is located in Schoolcraft, Mi. We service all of Kalamazoo, Michigan and surrounding areas. We are fully licensed and inspected by the state of Michigan. We work with fresh ingredients including real butter and fresh eggs. We bake our cakes fresh and make our own buttercream. Your wedding cake should taste as good as it looks! We work in all mediums including fondant, marzipan, gumpaste, chocolate, royal. buttercream and more! We specialize in cupcake weddings. We also custom make cake/cupcake stands in all designs and colors. The cupcake trend is increasing as more brides go with non-traditional cake designs. We like to work with the bride and groom to design a wedding cake that reflects your style and taste. Wedding cakes are no longer plain white pillared cakes.
